Henri would be my great grandfather.
Still working on him -- I haven’t been able to find information going back beyond Henri even though I have upgraded my ancestry.com to Worldwide and searched Canada and France.
Do you know how many Parquettes and variations.  To search Henri Parquette comes up with well ove 300 thousand records?  I'm slogging my way through.
Sorry, no pictures or anything.

Born abt 1842 Ottawa, Canada – information is all from secondary sources There are several years indicates on census forms for his Arrival in the United States from Canada.
Died 1922 Watertown, Mass.—no death certificate nor burial information
Married: Elizabeth LaSarge 1854 – 1906.
            Parents: Francois LaSarge and Marie Latour died 1906

Birth 1842 Abt  Ottawa, Canada 

Arrival 1857 -1876 — Age: 15  (1910 Census) he reported several various immigration dates. He reported twice that he was a naturalized citizen and later said he was an alien resident.

Arrival 1860 — Age: 18 (1900 Census)

Residence  1868 — Age: 26  Togus, Kennebec, Maine, USA 
U.S. National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers == Age at Admission: 28

Age in 1870: 26 === United States Military Asylum in Chelsea, Maine

Marriage to Elizabeth LaSarge 1875 — Age: 33

Arrival  1876 — Age: 34 (1920 Census)

Residence 1881 Anderdon Township, Essex County, Ontario, Canada this may be clue to LaSarge family whereabouts

childrens birthdays indicate probably the early dates. They do not appear in Mass State Archives marriage index --May have been married in another state or even Canada

Age: 60; Marital Status: Married; Relation to Head of House: Head In the 1900 census, early Haverhill street directories, and the birth records of most of Henry and Elizabeth’s children, the family name is spelled “Paquette”.

Beginning with the 1910 census, however, they consistently spelled their last name as “Parquette.” Birth records of two of the daughters were spelled with the “r.” Henry could not read and write, but Elizabeth could.

Residence 1919 — Age: 77  Watertown, Mass 
Henry moved to Watertown around 1919 and lived with his son Archibald while several of his children remained in Haverhill
